About the Role:

Vacancy: Specialist Nanny – Full Time (Temporary Contract)
Location: Cardiff, Wales
Salary: £15.00–£19.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Start date: Immediate
School Term Hours: Monday to Friday 7am – 12pm and 2pm – 7pm (approx. 50 hours per week)
School Holiday Hours: Monday to Friday 7am – 7pm (approx. 60 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary (6 months, with potential extension)
Role: Gingham Nanny Agency is seeking an experienced and compassionate Specialist Nanny to support a lovely family based in Cardiff. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a family of four children, providing both childcare and practical household support as part of the family’s daily routine.

Children:

Four children aged 2, 4, 5 and 7.

Key Responsibilities:

– Providing high-quality childcare and support
– School drop-offs and pick-ups
– Supporting daily routines and activities
– Child-related housekeeping duties
– Working closely with the family and wider support network
– Promoting independence, development and wellbeing

Essential Requirements:

– Enhanced DBS Certificate
– Paediatric First Aid Certificate
– SEN experience
– Full UK driving licence
– Own vehicle (highly desirable)
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
