Part-Time SEN Support Role – E18
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable support worker/nanny to assist a 9-year-old child with SEN. This is a rewarding role supporting a child with bowel and bladder management needs both at home and within the school environment.
School Holidays (10 weeks):
4 days per week, 8–10 hours per day
Approx. 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
The role involves light childcare duties focused on supporting the children’s routine:
– Supporting morning routines and personal care at home
– Training will be provided for bowel management and intermittent catheterisation
– Supporting the child with school inclusion
– Following therapy goals and professional guidance
– Using therapy equipment
– Preparing simple, healthy meals with the child
– Driving a larger vehicle when required
Requirements:
– Enhanced DBS
– Paediatric First Aid
– Full driving licence with access to own car
– Comfortable working within a therapy-led environment
