Gingham Nanny Agency is looking for a kind, reliable and experienced nanny to support a family based in South Mimms, near Potters Bar.
The role is caring for a 7-year-old girl who has ADHD and enjoys gymnastics, swimming, dog walks and playing in the garden. The family also have one dog, so applicants should be comfortable around pets.

About the Role:

Location: South Mimms, Potters Bar, EN6
During school holidays/half-term: Either 3 days x 3 hours per day or 2 days x 5 hours per day
During term time: 3 hours childcare at the weekend
Start date: As soon as possible
Salary: From £18 GROSS per hour.

Duties include:

– providing fun, engaging childcare;
– planning age-appropriate activities;
– supporting with homework;
– encouraging play, outdoor time and activities;
– offering calm, consistent support;
– helping maintain a positive routine.
The family would prefer someone with experience or knowledge of supporting children with ADHD.

The ideal nanny will be:

– warm, patient and reliable;
– confident supporting school-age children;
– calm and consistent in their approach;
– experienced with ADHD or additional needs;
– comfortable with dogs;
– a non-smoker;
– able to offer some flexibility during school holidays.

This would suit a nanny, teaching assistant, SEN support worker, nursery practitioner or childcare professional looking for a part-time family role. Driver essential.
