About the Role:

A warm and busy professional family based in a beautiful village near Diss, Norfolk, are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Nanny / Housekeeper to support their home and children on a part-time basis.

This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining household support with after-school childcare. The family has 2 cats and 2 dogs (labradors) with 12 acres of land. A beautiful and fun environment.

The position will include a mix of housekeeping duties and childcare support across the week:

Monday: 6 hours housekeeping
Wednesday: 1:00pm – 8:00pm
Thursday & Friday: 1:00pm – 6:30 / 7:00pm

Total: Approximately 27 hours per week
Additional hours may be available during school holidays

The Children:

The family have five children aged between 5 and 19 years, so the role will primarily focus on the younger children, alongside general household support.

Duties will include:

– General housekeeping and maintaining a tidy home
– Laundry and ironing
– After-school care and supervision
– Supporting with routines and activities
– Preparing simple, healthy meals
– Creating a calm and organised environment

Salary:

– £17 gross per hour / from £24,000PA
– Competitive for the right candidate

– Able to work independently and use initiative
– Driving licence preferred (due to location)
