Gingham Nanny Agency is seeking an experienced Specialist Rota Nanny to care for a cheerful three-year-old boy in N14. His mother lives with a brain injury, and the family would value a calm, capable nanny who can provide consistent care while working respectfully alongside both parents and the wider team.

This is a collaborative role rather than a sole-charge position. During your on-duty week, you will support the child’s daily routine, help him feel secure and engaged, and communicate clearly with everyone involved in his care.

About the Role:

Rota: One week on, one week off
Salary: Competitive; discussed at interview
Start: As soon as possible
Essential: Full driving licence and own car

Your responsibilities will include:

– Supporting sleep, mealtimes, play and development through a consistent routine
– Planning age-appropriate activities and outings
– Carrying out child-related nursery duties, including laundry, meal preparation and tidying play areas
– Keeping clear daily notes and providing thorough handovers
– Following safeguarding procedures and contributing to a calm, supportive home environment
– This is an outstanding opportunity with an excellent salary (£55,000PA) for the right candidate.

We’re looking for someone with:

– Strong toddler-care experience in a private household
– Experience working collaboratively with parents and other professionals
– A mature, discreet and adaptable approach
– A full driving licence and their own car

An interest in brain injury, psychology or additional needs would be welcome, although the child does not have additional needs. Gingham will provide training, ongoing professional development and support throughout the placement.

You will need the right to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS check and a current Paediatric First Aid qualification, or be willing to obtain or update these.
