About the Role:

Hours: Rota | 24/7 Cover (Shifts to be agreed)
Location: Canvey Island
Role: This position would suit an experienced career nanny who is confident working in structured environments and supporting families through complex circumstances. Working as part of a wider professional team, you will provide consistent support within the home, helping to maintain routines, structure, and stability.

About the Family:

– 11-year-old girl
– 13-year-old boy
– 16-year-old girl
– 19-year-old young adult
The role involves supporting the children within a structured home environment while assisting the father in maintaining engagement and interaction with the children.

Key Responsibilities:

– Providing proxy parenting support within the home
– Supporting the father with interaction and engagement with the children
– Maintaining routines and structure for all children
– School liaison and coordination
– Full household duties as required
– Working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
– Maintaining clear, factual nanny records and documentation
– Meal preparation

Requirements:

– Previous experience in specialist nanny roles or complex family environments (desirable). Full training will be provided.
– Confident working within a team-based care structure
– Strong organisational and administrative skills
– Ability to maintain professional records
– Calm, structured, and emotionally intelligent approach
– Experience supporting families following trauma or significant life events (desirable)
– Paediatric First Aid completed within the past 3 years
– DBS
– Driver with own car (essential)

Working Pattern:

– 24/7 rota-based role
– Shifts to be agreed as part of a team
